Response to a Comment about the Role of AI in Art and Music I understand that many people are cautious about art created with the help of artificial intelligence. There’s a perception that if something isn’t created by human hands, it loses its value. But let's look at it from a different perspective. A photographer, for example, uses a camera — which is a mechanism that does much of the work. Yet, behind the shot is a person who selects the angle, lighting, and composition. Photography is not just "pressing a button"; it's a process that involves choice, editing, and creating an aesthetic. And while part of the work is done by a machine, it’s the human who makes the creative decisions. With music created by AI, it's similar. Yes, there are programs that generate sounds, but to turn those sounds into something that moves the soul, a person is still needed. Personally, I don’t care whether the music is made by AI or a human, as long as it touches me and inspires me. When I worked as a photographer, I saw how, through the lens, ordinary people could be transformed into heroes of elegant photographs. It’s a process of transformation, where technology assists, but the outcome is always something deeply personal. This balance between aesthetics and reality is what makes art, art. I believe that AI is just another tool in the hands of a creator. Yes, it simplifies some processes, but behind every decision is still a person who puts in their vision, emotions, and ideas. Art is not about who creates it, but what it evokes in us.
